 This position would be primarily responsible for ensuring adherence to set quality standards during the manufacturing processes at Supplier’s factory through surveillance audits of process & product as well.

 Responsible to undertake the QC activity at North India base supplier’s factory by checking in parts against set Panasonic quality standards and making QC reports [documenting the findings].

 Read and understand drawings / Indian standard and ensure that while undertaking Quality Check, the item is checked against the original specifications mentioned in the drawings / IS and measure components against those mentioned in the drawings.

 Undertake Q.C evaluation of vendor samples and publish reports to the concerned with detailed findings through routine audits at Warehouses / Supplier’s Factories.

 Responsible in solving Field Complaints / queries / concerns reported by Sales & Marketing team.

 Update periodic MIS reports which would enable seniors in understanding the performance of the team and make informed decisions. This includes, maintaining all part /product Q.C data / Supplier Performance data.

 Review of Supplier’s OQC Reports and verification through self checks / Audits.

 Undertake training activities to enhance the skill of supplier members and help them to develop for delivering better Product Quality as perceived by customers.

 Follow up with Suppliers for CAPA closure.

 To manage Root cause analysis & Corrective action for Field complaints.

 To prepare and adhere Supplier’s Quality Audit (Process & Product) Plan.

 Promote Quality Improvement projects at Supplier’s end through QC Drive.

 Strong understanding of LED Manufacturing Process / product / Supplier QMS

 Practical applications of basic Q.C tools

 Good Knowledge of manufacturing processes mechanical / electronic.

Experience

 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in Lighting Supplier Quality Control.

 Demonstrate Good Communication & Planning Skills with an eye for details

 Must be well versed with concepts like PQC, OQC, IQC etc.

 Proficient in working on MS Office (Excel & Power Point)
